Message	the same shape. When the lower manifolds changed to accomodate the new style injectors, the intake port shapes also changed. As long as the heads are meant for the same style injectors, you can swap them right in. The combustion chambers are the same volume. The compression change between na/tt comes from the pistons. TT heads also flow better, so your friend might gain a little performance as a side benefit.
